This 12 oz. cup was made on the potters wheel and then hand illustrated and painted. Fired, sanded, glazed, and fired again.
After being fired to full maturity, 22k gold was added and then it was fired a 3rd time to completely adhere it to the piece.
Each piece is hand made, one of a kind, and unrepeatable.
Once the piece is removed from the final firing it is then sanded and cleaned—ready for your hands.
Because of the 22k gold, it is not safe to put in a microwave. And though you can put it in a dishwasher, the intensity of the environment will etch away the gold over time. It's best to lovingly hand wash!
